Dyskit is a music platform that allows unknown artists to get known faster. There is a voting process when you listen to a track so the artist can find out his popularity.
We had to think and design the whole UX/UI in a very short time and it might be the biggest challenge I had.
A cross device service
So far I remember, it's the first time I had to create from scratch a whole brand history. I had to focus on Dyskit’s main target, their goals and expectations.
From theirs identified goals, my work was to think about usability and functionnalities

I wanted to use bright colors to bring some spaces to the interface. Important informations must be seen in a blink

Grid & layers
The grid used is a full-width layer in order to use the whole space of the browser. The left sidebar is the menu, the right content is the audio player, and the centered content displays everything you need to know about artists and songs.

The main functionnality of Dyskit is to vote for the artist/song you are currently listening. I had a « Mobile first » approach for designing this audio player. The user cannot fast forward or next the song until he hasn’t vote
Let's vote
Click on the thumbs to vote
Right after you vote, you have a quick view of the current voting stats of the song.
Sure we all love stats. Specially when they are understandable and well displayed. For Dyskit, I wanted the stats to be displayed as widgets, so the user can easily find the data he’s looking for.
